InnoVint SUPPLY Now Includes Wholesale Order Management

Wineries Deserve Better Than Order Management Chaos

If you’ve ever pieced together a wholesale order from three different spreadsheets, a string of emails, and a stack of paper invoices, you already know the real headache of wholesale order management. Everything that happens around it, such as who confirmed the price, who actually deducted inventory, and where the paper trail lives, is all siloed in different areas and held by different people at the winery.

InnoVint SUPPLY now solves this problem with new wholesale order management capabilities. One place to create orders, track your customers, and fulfill your wholesale business from start to finish. Plus, with a new, streamlined QuickBooks workflow and granular COGS tracking, invoices never have to be entered twice and you know your margin on every order.

With InnoVint SUPPLY, your winery gets more time back and, ultimately, more wine sold.

What SUPPLY’s new Wholesale Order Management System Delivers

Wholesale Order Management

SUPPLY connects your wholesale orders directly to the inventory you’re already tracking in InnoVint, so the two are never out of sync:

  • Inventory that depletes automatically. The moment an order is fulfilled, your bonded and tax-paid inventory updates. There’s no separate spreadsheet, no manual adjustment, and no reconciling two systems at the end of the month.
  • One system for orders, customers, and fulfillment. Create an order, manage the customer relationship, and fulfill wholesale shipments without leaving SUPPLY.
  • A real paper trail. Every order, edit, and fulfillment is logged automatically, replacing the guesswork of “what happened, when, and why” that lives buried in old spreadsheet history and email threads.
  • The trusted source of truth. Every invoice, bill of lading, external purchase order, and piece of customer and delivery information lives with the order, complete with history attached.
  • Real-time inventory across every channel. Wholesale orders and DTC sales through Commerce7 pull from the same live inventory count, so nothing gets oversold or undersold.

Sarah Blakeley, Compliance Manager at Pedroncelli Winery says her counts are more reliable than ever:

Since using InnoVint, our inventory has been the most accurate it’s ever been. Every month we do a physical count and compare it to what’s in SUPPLY, and if anything’s off, there’s a super easy way to see exactly where it went wrong.

Sarah Blakeley – Pedroncelli

Dan Salinas, Sales Admin Specialist at Schug, says SUPPLY has empowered his DTC staff and winery management teams to have a trusted source of truth across the winery.

Our team can now use SUPPLY and know exactly what our inventory is at any point in time, for any product. And that alone is a huge relief. I don’t have to run down and manually count product, and we don’t oversell or undersell. I trust the numbers in it. It’s always given me exactly what I know it should, better than I know I could.

Streamline Your Quickbooks Workflow

SUPPLY now exports invoices directly into QuickBooks format, cutting out double entry and the human error that comes with it. Instead of recreating the same invoice in two systems, create it once in SUPPLY, manage the wholesale fulfillment, inventory depletion, BOL, and customer information there, and export straight into QuickBooks in a few clicks. It works one invoice at a time or in bulk, so your workflow saves time instead of adding rework.

COGS Tracking

SUPPLY’s new COGS functionality lets you track the true cost of your wine so you can see your costs with every order you fulfill. It’s the first COGS tracking built specifically for accurate wholesale order costing: enter your per-item cost and SUPPLY calculates per-case and inventory-on-hand cost. This lets CFOs and accountants see their inventory valuation by SKU and plan next year’s budget around real profitability.

You can also view order reporting by customer and see revenue and profit per customer, giving you the most in-depth view yet of who’s buying your wine and where you’re actually making money. It’s just as valuable for inventory valuation and month-end or year-end reconciling.

Wineries Are Seeing 5+ Hours Saved Per Week with InnoVint SUPPLY

Wineries are reporting 5+ hours saved a week on order and inventory management alone, which extrapolates to 260+ hours back per work year. Imagine what’s possible with that extra time.

We built SUPPLY’s Wholesale Order Management capabilities alongside customers who live in their order process every day, and the time savings added up fast. It cut three steps out of Schug’s invoicing process alone. Dan estimates it’s saved him an hour a day which adds up to over 250 hours back over a year:

It’s saved me an hour a day, five hours a week, depending on how much I’m shipping, about a day of my week back. That makes inventory days that much easier, because I have a reliable source of inventory.

Dan Salinas – Schug

SUPPLY’s new Wholesale Order Management system cut out the work of checking and updating multiple systems that used to eat up Sarah’s week:

Everything lives in one space to get orders done. You’re not going back and forth, and if there’s a mistake, it’s easy to find and edit, whether that’s canceling an order or making an adjustment.
