Ashley spent eight years in wine production holding positions ranging from cellar intern to assistant winemaker and general manager. She has first-hand experience with the struggles of redundant data entry, cumbersome paper-based tracking systems and archaic software. After working in Napa, the Central Coast and the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ashley spent a few years in high-tech during the mobility boom where it became clear that the wine industry was in great need of a strong mobile solution to track operational data and workflow. Combining her love for and experience with winemaking and technology, in 2013, she founded InnoVint and never looked back. Ashley has been active in supporting industry associations and has received awards for her volunteer efforts. Her current challenge is finding enough time for competitive volleyball and mountain biking.
After graduating from Cal Poly SLO with an engineering degree, Dan moved to the Bay Area to join Apple’s electronic design team. After spending five years creating iPhones and iPads, InnoVint lured Dan away from Apple where he found the challenge to radically change the wine industry deeply compelling. Dan balances a keen sense of delivering on time with a relentless pursuit of excellence that permeates InnoVint development. Convinced there are not enough hours in a day to pursue all worthwhile endeavors, Dan spends the little free time he has on other creative outlets such as writing music, cinematography, and snowboarding.
Drew has been a professional designer for 10 years and was an enthusiastic amateur for 5 or 6 before that. He started his career in print design, which gave him a strong foundation in typography and a philosophy of doing more with less. His last job was with Ticketfly where, among other things, he redesigned the ticket purchase process, helped to launch a powerful analytics tool for promoters, and designed and helped implement a brand new box office app. When he’s not designing (and re-designing) at InnoVint, Drew takes pretty pictures and tries to make people laugh with improv comedy jokes.
